Remembering Michael Jackson, The Undisputed King of Music, 1958 - 2009 (FOREVER)

Tomorrow, June 25th, 2010 marks the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson's passing.

Michael Jackson is the world's most famious cultural icon, who is the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen and is the most talented musical genius in history.

The title Dame Elizabeth Taylor dubbed him, King of Pop, doesn't do him justice, which is why I prefer to call him the King of Music. He was the ultimate singer, songwriter and dancer. What most people don't realize is that Michael Jackson wrote almost all of his hundreds of songs out there. He was also a poet.

Dancers respect and love him.
Musicians respect and love him.
Songwriters/producers respect and love him.
Fans all over the world in all ages and ethnicities respect and love him.
And I love him.

The tabloid media disgustingly tried to bring him down and made up vicious lies to take people's attention away from his genius talent, but true fans, such as myself, understand that at the end of the day, Michael Jackson was and will always be remembered for what he gave to the world.

He gave us beautiful music that we can enjoy and relate to in all aspects of our everyday lives. He showed us what true L.O.V.E. is. He gave to the needy and over 200 charities without making his humanitarian efforts public. He spread peace and love through his music and he cared so much about the nature and environment that he wrote poems and songs around preserving the environment. He showed us how mesmerizing dancing can be with his moonwalking. He allowed underprivileged students to pursue higher education by giving scholarships. He saved sick children's lives. He gave joy and laughter to sick kids and orphans around the world and provided them with things they needed.

Michael Jackson symbolized love.
Michael Jackson symbolized kindness.
Michael Jackson symbolized greatest.

I really hope that the media and ignorant people out there stop believing all the vicious lies that are written about him and realize for once and for all that he touched many people's lives.

I am not going to address any scandals or lies in this blog entry simply because they are not true. The tabloid media made everything up in order to sell papers without respecting his privacy and his family.

Michael Jackson's music will always stay in history. His iconic music videos will always be remembered. He was also an amazing fashion icon! His style and influence will live for centuries to come.

For me, Michael Jackson has helped me get through the toughest times in my life. I know exactly what songs to listen to when I am feeling sad, when I need to feel motivated and when I am happy. Every significant moment in my life, I've shared with Michael Jackson through his music.

He truly inspires me to be a better person, spread positive energy and love.

He was all about LOVE. I strongly believe people will begin to see what a kind person he was and stop buying into the tabloid media.

He was innocent of the 1993 accusation and 2005 accusation and that was proven through our justice system and by the people involved. No matter how many times the media, conspirators and haters tried to bring him down, he was invincible.

I feel Michael Jackson was a victim of hatred and injustice because he was greater than great. Never in history had we seen such a true genius! Think about it. He was not ordinary - he was extraordinary! You ask any musician out there, and they have all been inspired by Michael Jackson.

Please respect his legacy and let's focus on his music, his talent and his contributions to our world as the greatest entertainer and humanitarian in history.

I will be visiting his burial site at Forest Lawn in Glendale to pay my respects on 6/25/2010. I hope that you find your own way to celebrate him whether it be blasting his music all day, watching his music videos or sporting your favorite MJ shirt.

Michael Jackson will live forever, especially in my heart and in the hearts of the fans around the world.

Thank you, MJ, for giving us wonderful music to enjoy for life and for showing us kindness and love.

L.O.V.E.
